A Summery Kitchen that Inspires to Summery Non-Churn Homemade Ice Cream!

*This blog post is part of a sponsored partnership with Samsung Home Appliances

After finishing up our summery kitchen update, I was in the mood to make some homemade, non-churn ice cream! I do after all have the perfect fridge freezer combination from Samsung Home Appliances* for it, to store all our favorite flavors.

Today I am showing you how I made four different - real summer - flavors that don't require and ice cream making appliance and still taste phenomenal! So what screams SUMMER more than coconut, lime, peach & blueberry? Not much I think 😀

The bases for all four flavors is the same by combining heavy whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla flavor. Those are staples in our kitchen, making this a simple and quick desert to whip up a few hours in advance.

All recipes are for one liter containers. I like to save purchased ice cream containers to reuse for homemade versions, but any others will do too, of course.

Ice Cream Base

  • 2 Cups of heavy whipping cream
  • 1 Can of sweetened condensed milk (14oz/ 389g)
  • 2 tbsp vanilla paste/ flavor

  • add flavors as you please - find mine below

  • add pineapple, coconut + nuts (if you decide to use any) fold them into the creamy base

Key Lime Pie

  • 2 Cups of heavy whipping cream

Method:

  • combine heavy whipping cream and condensed and mix it until stiff peaks form (electric mix or stand mixer are fine)

  • squeeze three limes and use their zest to fold into the cream base
  • crumble cookies and fold into the base as well together with the small chopped white chocolate

After I whipped up all the different flavors (I already have more flavor requests from the family lines up), I stored them into our freezer department. I tried the ice cream every 2 hours to see, when we could eat it - it took about 8 😀

Time to EAT it!

Doesn't this look good? And if you know me, you probably have heard that I can't eat Gluten - so I was super thrilled, when I found gluten-free cones!

Now Enjoy ❤
