Now that our cabinets are fresh and pretty, it's time to tackle our microwave corner that for some reason has always been a sore in my eyes. 

But then we got a new microwave from Samsung* and I knew I had to the update this area just as well to fit into the Kitchen 3.0 revamp.

With the lower cabinet front done in a classic shaker style, I wanted something very different for the uppers. Last year I set out to make cane cabinet doors from scratch and now I planned on building sliding doors, using the existing upper cabinets as bases.

 

Here we go! The first step in updating our kitchen is to make new shaker style cabinet fronts!

I have an office and yet I work 80% at home, which at the moment I can excuse with the fact that our AC at the office is broken and it feels like a greenhouse. Good for our plants there, not good for me. 

It's Spring 2020, and even though the world is upside down, I set out to change our pink kitchen yet again.

I've spent so much time revamping our terrace/ patio that I had to include this super fun & relatively quick DIY on our new lampshade. It's a bit later than I thought, but better late than never right?

You guys must know by now that I have a deep love for all things tent related. In fact this is probably the fourth play tent/ house up here 😃 But this one was easy - so easy, no sew only a bit of sawing and fixing together with screws and voila! Another playful tent perfect to give some shade during the summer!
